Karen has 20+ years of experience in the financial services industry.  Prior to joining Paralel, Karen spent over 13 years as the Tax Compliance Manager at SS&C ALPS.  With this role, Karen was responsible for tax return preparation and year end ICI reporting for her clients.  Prior to SS&C ALPS, Karen spent over 11 years at Capmark Capital Inc. (fka GMACCH Capital Corp., Newman & Associates) in various roles including AVP LIHTC Funds Management, Treasurer and Accounting Manager.  Before joining Capmark Capital Inc., Karen worked at WestAmerica Mortgage Company, Bretzlauf & Associates, LLC and Norwest Bank.  Karen holds a CPA license and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
