Chris brings 15+ years of legal and accounting expertise in the finance and investment management industries to Paralel. Before joining the team, he served as the Deputy General Counsel at RiverNorth Capital Management, LLC, a registered investment adviser specializing in closed-end funds. He also held the position of Vice President and Senior Counsel at SS&C/ALPS, where he was an executive officer for several open-end series trusts and NYSE listed closed-end funds. His previous roles include serving as an Associate at Thompson Hine LLP, Corporate Counsel at DSW Inc., and Audit Associate at Ernst & Young LLP, where he earned his CPA. Chris holds a BS in Political Science and a MS in Accounting from Grand Valley State University, and a JD from the Ohio State University.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find Chris at the ice rink re-living his college hockey days, hacking around a golf course, or out in the mountains with his wife and two pups.
